- Extends retention from typical hours/days (with capacitor only) to approximately 200 days.
Real-Time Clock (RTC): Adds a battery-backed hardware clock to the CPU for accurate time stamping of events, logs, and time-based control functions.
Installation: Plugs directly into a dedicated slot on the front of supported S7-200 SMART CPUs (e.g., CPU SR20, ST20, SR30, SR40, SR60, CR40, CR60 and their newer variants).
