The Siemens 6ES7431-0HH00-0AB0 (SM 431) is an analog input module for the SIMATIC S7-400 PLC family, providing 16 analog inputs with 16-bit resolution (including sign) . It supports voltage measurement ranges (0-10V, ±10V, 0-5V, ±5V, 1-5V, ±2.5V) and current measurement ranges (0-20mA, 4-20mA, ±20mA) with a basic conversion time of approximately 65 µs per channel . The inputs are differential and electrically isolated in groups of 8 channels, with a backplane bus current consumption of 400 mA . The module supports programmable diagnostic interrupts and includes a front connector for wiring (screw-type terminals sold separately) . Suitable for use in S7-400 racks, it has a discontinued lifecycle status (PM410) and is intended as a spare part for legacy analog acquisition systems .
