It features 2 MB of program memory and 8 MB of data memory for large-scale applications with integrated safety . The unit includes three PROFINET IO IRT interfaces (each with a 2-port switch) supporting isochronous mode, PROFIsafe, and MRP for real-time communication and redundancy . An integrated PROFIBUS DP interface allows connection of legacy field devices . The fail-safe functionality supports safety applications up to SIL 3 according to IEC 61508 and PL e according to ISO 13849-1 . The unit includes a 6 cm full graphic display for diagnostics .
